The front flange has a sponge rubber seal to stop water ingress. There are 4 corner mounting holes to suit countersunk screws (screws not provided) accessed when the cover is opened. A rear flange is fited on the inside for the fixing screws to screw into.

THIS DEVICE HAS EXPOSED MALE PINS, AND IS DESIGNED TO BE FITTED TO AN APPLIANCE (eg BOAT, CARAVAN, CAMPER etc) TO RECEIVE AN INCOMING MAINS ELECTRICAL SUPPLY. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES MUST THIS DEVICE BE USED AS A ‘SOCKET’ ON AN OUTGOING LIVE SUPPLY. CONSULT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN IF IN DOUBT.

The cover on the back face has an opening for the cable to exit into the vehicle or boat, and a grommet is included.
